Lifesteps is seeking a Payroll Manager.
Lifesteps, a local human service agency, is currently recruiting for a full-time Payroll Manager to join our team in Butler, PA.
The Payroll Manager position manages the payroll process for the Agency and its subsidiaries and performs accounting-related tasks such as:
Supervises the payroll staff members and conducts trainings, performance evaluations, coaching, etc.
Analyzes, prepares and inputs data to produce accurate and timely payroll.
Maintains current knowledge and ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management.
Provides support for wage analysis.
Provides general ledger support and performs account reconciliations.
Establishes internal controls to ensure a strong system of checks and balances.
Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures, through presentations and regular feedback.
18 yrs or older
Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business Management, or related field with 3 years experience processing payroll or in cost accounting or managerial accounting.
At least 2 years Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Knowledge and Use of ADP Workforce Now Software is strongly preferred
Must be detail oriented.
Valid driver's license/auto insurance
Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
