Manager Patient Access - Pamc Patient Access

The Manager On-Site Access is accountable for the 24/7 operational leadership of the on-site Access Services staff for smaller ministries (typically less than 300 beds). Hospital Access Services departments facilitate patient, visitor and provider interactions within their ministry including access to both information and care. This position is responsible for oversight and leadership of all areas of department operations, and ensuring adherence to regulations, facilitating appropriate disaster response, as well as coordination with facility clinical and administrative leadership for processes integrated with Access.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 40 Hours Per Week.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in a healthcare related field or equivalent educ/experience

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement

• 5 years overall experience in integrated healthcare system in any aspect of access services or related position, including a minimum of 3 years of experience in management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM)
• Epic Healthcare Systems experience
