What you get to do:
Manage recruitment, training, development, evaluation, personnel performance management, and adherence to department safety initiatives. Actively participate in the hiring and advancement decision making process.
Direct the work (present, short term, and long term) of FT Supervisors (Training/Development and Operations) and their staffs to ensure team member and guest safety in a dynamic aquatic facility.
Actively monitor and account for labor usage and restrictions, department expense accounts, and to drive efficiencies for disciplines of responsibility.
Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and to take action as necessary to drive peak performance for self and team.
Educate, ensure, and adjust standard operating procedures and meet all
SEA Standards and Best Practices.
Participate in the Park Duty Manager schedule.
Directly responsible for the Guest Arrival Operations from Parking to Ticketing
Directly responsible for In-Park Revenue (Cabanas and other amenities)
Directly responsible for a labor and expense budget in excess of 1Million/annually
Directly responsible for Park Quality and Landscape
Directly responsible for the Administration Team who serves our team members and guests
Support admission and ancillary products through sales, messaging, and inventory.
Coordinate testing, product improvements, and POS system maintenance with IT, Marketing, and other departments.
Monitor Guest Correspondence and Courtesy through all available channels.
Organize timeline and execution for Grounds and Landscape park prep and seasonal maintenance.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
High School Diploma or equivalency required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Strong human relations, organizational, and problem solving skills
Strong business financial management experience required
IT general understanding and competency in Word, Excel, Access, and ability to learn other electronic data base programs
Guest Arrival experience in 6K+ daily visitation event preferred
Three years supervisory/management experience required
Experience in Water Park Aquatic Safety Operations preferred
Must have a valid Virginia driver's license
