Role Purpose

Develop, execute and optimize strategic paid social media campaigns, ensuring flawless delivery while driving channel efficiencies, effectiveness, and optimal performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the thought leader and strategist for IHG's paid social media advertising efforts across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc).

  • Develop and implement a data-driven paid social media strategy aligned with business objectives, maximizing brand awareness, lead generation, and conversions.

  • Manage campaign budgets effectively, allocating resources strategically to achieve optimal performance.

  • Utilize audience targeting tools to ensure ads reach the right people at the right time.

  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to maximize effectiveness.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest paid social media trends, platforms, and best practices, and implement these learnings into strategies.

  • Generate comprehensive reports that measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights for future campaigns.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Creative Services, Content Marketing, and Media Effectiveness to ensure seamless campaign execution.

  • Manage relationships with social media advertising platform representatives to stay informed on new features and opportunities.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, continually testing new approaches to paid social media advertising.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital, Advertising, Business or a relevant combination of education and work experience.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in paid social media management, with a focus on travel & hospitality (preferred).

  • Experience using various social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads).

  • Proven success in managing large social media advertising budgets and maximizing performance is essential.

  • Proven ability to analyze campaign performance data, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience developing and managing successful paid social media campaigns

  • Strong understanding of social media advertising platforms and targeting options

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations

  • Experience with campaign management tools and reporting platforms

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment

  • Passion for social media and a keen understanding of how it can be leveraged to achieve marketing goals
