HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Manager of Paid Media will help to execute and optimize performance marketing and brand advertising campaigns for the Carter's Retail Inc. portfolio of brands. This person will have a fundamental understanding of media planning and campaign activation, 5-7 years of experience working in media with an emphasis on Social, Influencer Marketing, and/or Affiliate marketing. Preference is given to candidates who have worked in retail or at an agency. We are looking for a passionate individual with strong leadership skills who wants to be part of a team focused on driving growth while keeping pace with the everchanging media landscape. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail and an understanding of social media marketplace is essential for success in this role.

This role typically reports into the Director, Media, and is based in our Buckhead office in our on-site work environment. This role typically comes into the office 4 days a week.

  • Assist with the strategic development of insights-driven paid media plans across media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Rakuten, Collective Voice, LTK, etc.) to deliver on various objectives.

  • Work with agency team and cross functional teams day-to-day, overseeing the end-to-end management of deliverables for paid social campaigns from implementation to optimization, ensuring on-time delivery, budget accuracy and creative/messaging accuracy.

  • Write and oversee development creative briefs and deliver to relevant teams for asset creation; manage trafficking and asset delivery between internal creative teams and agency.

  • Attend weekly performance calls, review and approve campaign optimizations in alignment with business objectives and strategy.

  • Partner with Media and Analytics leads to help set testing roadmap for paid channels, including development of test design and performance evaluation.

  • Build effective working relationships with cross functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on digital plans.

  • Manage channel budgets, including monthly reconciliation of media expenditures and resolving billing discrepancies.

  • Manage analytics and reporting from multiple sources to closely monitor and optimize channel performance in conjunction with agency and internal media team.

  • Leverage data and analytics to determine profitability and provide actionable insights regarding campaign performance and operational/creative testing.

  • Partner with marketing analytics team and agency to ensure proper setup and implementation of campaign tracking and tagging,

  • Monitor and report on campaign progress weekly / monthly / quarterly / ad hoc as needed

WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in Social Media, Influencer or Affiliate Marketing (brand or agency side). Experience in Direct Mail a plus.

  • Manage channel budgets, including monthly reconciliation of media expenditures and resolving billing discrepancies.

  • 1-2+ years of experience managing entry level direct reports.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and field requests from multiple internal stakeholders.

  • eCommerce & Retail experience.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills specifically power point and excel

  • Team player. Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Time management skills and ability to shift between competing priorities.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • A positive, professional attitude internally and externally.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.
