GENERAL FUNCTION
The Manager of Product will primarily focus on the ongoing management and optimization of product offerings to our clients across both the direct and Strategic Partner business segments. This role will also be responsible for acting as the product SME for organizational and product team initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads the end-to-end project management of product offering initiatives, tracking projects from inception to completion and ensuring deadlines are met.
Partners with leadership on the oversight of Core insurance offerings including selling guidelines, product governance, organizational feasibility checks, issue resolution and sales team right-to-win collaboration.
Works closely with sales and account management teams to understand the selling process to assist in product optimization initiatives.
Partners directly with the product innovation team and internal functional areas to document and develop requirements to build and enhance product capabilities.
Leads day-to-day management of offers outside insurance including development, operationalization, exception management, issue resolution, and results tracking.
Ensures all products are compliant with regulatory directives and state/federal laws and policies.
Performs detailed program analysis for management reporting, and provides recommendations to assist in business decision making.
Maintains deep understanding of EyeMed and competitor product capabilities, acting as primary product SME on various projects both cross functionally and within the product team.
Creates and maintains standards of administration documentation and partners on creating training for sales team.
Manages quarterly/annual code update to support Medicare Advantage.
Supports in the end-to-end management of claims denial codes.
Manages daily ad-hoc product inquiries.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years in product management, or related field
Strategic mindset with high level of critical thinking
Strong organization and follow through skills
Strong analytical skills with data accuracy
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication
MS Office Suite proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in business, health care or related field
5+ years of experience in health care or insurance with an emphasis in product management
3+ years of experience in leading cross-functional projects
Understanding of vision care industry
