We are currently seeking a Manager of Operations and Compensation at our Irvine, CA headquarters.

The Manager of Operations and Compensation will be responsible for leading and designing VIZIO's Compensation programs and HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors). The position will operate at both the strategic and tactical levels to assess and anticipate compensation and HRIS related needs, recommend solutions and deliver results. Reporting directly into the Senior Director of HR, while managing a team of 4 individual contributors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the HR Operations processes and procedures roadmap. Perform deep-dive troubleshooting into systems issues and data sets when necessary to identify solutions. Responsible for collaborating with vendor on support, maintenance, patches, enhancements and upgrades. Oversees testing of system for upgrades, and implementation of new system upgrades and interfaces with other systems and locations.

  • Determine and partner with outside vendors to further enhance out HRIS systems and elevate the HR core processes (LMS, Succession Planning, Travel and Expense etc.)

  • Design and build a compensation philosophy and framework that aligns to VIZIO's job families and career progressions including grade levels, salary bands and compensation ranges.

  • Lead and manage the annual compensation process to include salary planning, merit budget, adjustments and promotions.

  • Manage the job evaluation process, identifying the appropriate FLSA classification

  • Ensure controls in place to reduce risk and maintain compliance. Track system uptimes.

  • Ensure programs in place to attract, retain, motivate and reward employees while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.

  • Participate in the annual Radford salary survey and determine other resources to gather benchmark salary data

  • Administer and monitor the systems ensuring confidential and appropriate security and access are in place, maintaining all foundational information, managing data integration and other related tasks.

  • Lead any training efforts needed for system enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor's Degree Area of Study: HR, HRIS and/or Business

  • Masters preferred.

  • Years of related work experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive growth and experience in some combination of HRIS and/or compensation

  • Proficient in technologies of MS PowerPoint and Word, Intermediate to Advanced Excel

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, critical thinking.

  • Strong project management, organizational and execution skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Team player and ability to build strong working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and Ultipro systems strongly preferred.

  • CCP Certification

  • Experience with Radford Survey

Responsibilities * Lead the development, design, and implementation of Blizzard's global compensation philosophy and strategy. * Design, implement and refine all Blizzard incentive programs and play a key role in providing input to broader Activision Blizzard incentive programs and design. * Oversee the design, iteration, and maintenance of the organization's salary structure and job mapping processes in order to maintain appropriate internal equity and external competitiveness. * Provide strategic input to executives and global function heads to ensure compensation structures and levels are competitive externally and are aligned with Blizzard's global business objectives and core values. * Develop processes and oversee the communications, roll-out, and project management of the annual compensation planning process for all employees globally (merit increases, promotions, cash and equity incentive planning, etc.). * Liaison and point of contact for Blizzard with Activision Blizzard's benefits and compensation leaders. * Stay current with market practices and explores creative and alternative ways to reward employees. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics or related discipline. * A minimum of 10 years' experience in compensation administration and design at a mid to large size company. * A minimum of 4 years' managing a team in a leadership role. * Human Capital Management consulting experience preferred. * Proven ability to produce results under tight deadlines while driving engagement from the business. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to translate findings into clear and concise documents and presentations. * Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to compensation (e.g. FLSA). * Demonstrated ability to work closely with and influence executives and HR leadership. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong mathematical aptitude. * Strong customer service and leadership skills. Pluses * Postgraduate education in HR, MBA, or CCP. * Previous experience at a Technology, Media or Video Game company. * Experience with key HR systems: MarketPay & Workday. * Resilience and high adaptability in a startup or fast-paced environment. * Passion for gaming and/or entertainment.
