The following is a brief description of responsibilities to be performed by the Vendor Compliance Supervisor. This position will not be limited to just those responsibilities described below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages and coordinates the activities of the warehouse personnel assigned to the Vendor Compliance Department.
Administer DC and RSC Policies and Procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
Regularly reviews operational procedures/vendor compliance manual to ensure best practices to achieve company's vendor management goals.
Utilize computer (PkMS/JDA/Crystal Reports/MS Excel) to monitor progress, input and collect data regarding vendor compliance across categories of compliance.
Train and coach Leads within area of accountability. Provide leadership direction as necessary and monitor their interaction with hourly associates to ensure compliance with company policies. Establish individual goals and objectives for Leads that are consistent with those of the Distribution Center.
Work with Leads to train and motivate associates to ensure procedural compliance maximizing efficiency and accuracy.
Responsible for accurate, timely data collection and feedback to vendors regarding compliance issues.
Monitor and report on vendor performance to include: types of violations, corrective steps taken and communications with vendors and/or their representatives.
Recommend continuous improvement of Vendor Compliance program.
Model behavior of leads and associates through personal behavior.
Review and manage personnel time records and attendance calendars on a daily basis.
Research process failures, recommend and implement corrective action as necessary.
Write and administer performance evaluations for hourly staff annually. Write personal self appraisal including business results and accomplishments as they relate to goals and objectives. Recommend goals and objectives for the year ahead.
Ensure that proper housekeeping requirements are maintained within area of accountability.
As a member of the DC Leadership Team, be responsible for the overall safety of associates with the facility and safeguard all company assets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in English
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
Excellent written/grammatical and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage dynamic workload with desired results.
Ability to identify inefficiencies in work area and apply procedural improvements to improve performance.
