Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage Schooxs Compliance department initiatives by leading and managing Governance, Risk, and Compliance efforts within the organization. The Manager of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance will report directly to the VP of Security and Compliance.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT related regulatory compliance initiatives such as SOC2 and other contractual obligated audit programs in a global and diverse environment
  • Partner with Schooxs SOC2 external audit firm to understand, design, and implement appropriate IT controls and manage the technology control framework
  • Partner with Legal, Sales and Support organizations to ensure compliance to technology related contractual obligations
  • Regularly review Schooxs computing environment to identify opportunities to improve the control environment and guide the implementation of IT General Controls where risks are identified
  • Lead and conduct Internal Audit reviews and programs to ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively
  • Develop risk registers and standardized reporting dashboards for communicating risk significance to Schoox personnel and leadership
  • Provide leadership in continuous improvements to departmental good practices
  • Educate and guide project teams on the inclusion of appropriate IT General Controls into the scope of projects
  • Be a thought leader and driver in addressing control opportunities for improvement and mitigation of risk


  • 4+ years of Internal Audit and/or Compliance experience in the field of Technology and Security (Big 4 or equivalent a plus)
  • Strong experience in IT Security and Governance including cloud technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment across multiple tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels across the company
  • Experience leading and managing technology initiatives
  • Proven ability to coach and grow personnel
  • Attention to detail with superior organizational skills and passion for driving change
  • CISA certification preferred
  • MBA, or PMP certification a plus

In this role, you'll be primarily responsible for project managing new product initiatives within our eCommerce product portfolio. The Emerging Products team makes sure that our Risk and Payment Operations organization is ready to support new payment products developed at Facebook. This requires coordinating and driving requirements across our internal stakeholder teams in Risk and Payments, as well as influencing product teams to incorporate fraud management and customer support best practices. We partner with multiple teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Legal, Policy, and Finance to ensure new products successfully launch and succeed. Risk & Payments Operations Program Manager Responsibilities * Manage a series of projects simultaneously with varying complexity and timelines Collaborate with our Risk and Payment Operations core teams in determining requirements and resources needed that allow new products and features to scale Develop project schedules based on the product requirements, technical challenges or constraints, tooling lead-times and operational needs Work with project team members to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks Influence and lead efforts on behalf of Risk and Payment Operations with key cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Design, Compliance, Legal, Policy and others during design, build, launch, and expansion phases of the product life cycle Define and implement core key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring playbook to ensure the expected benefits are delivered and to track any unexpected issues after the project is executed Close project and ensure appropriate handoff to operational owners Conduct post mortems to assess elements of the project that were successful or unsuccessful to inform future improvements and reduced risks Maintain full visibility with leadership and other critical stakeholders throughout project holding launch readiness reviews as appropriate Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for project team members, leadership and stakeholder review Work with project leaders to develop best practices and production processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment Establish and grow solid cross-functional relationships with Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, Compliance and Operations to enable a high rate of success Become an expert in core risk and support infrastructure, tools, systems, and data Be familiar with organizational direction and priorities which may impact the products you support Minimum Qualifications * 5+ years of relevant experience working in consulting, strategy, operations or equivalent program management experience or educational degree in project management, business, marketing, finance or operations Proven time management and organizational skills Experience driving collaboration of cross-functional teams, coordinating effectively, and inspiring others Experience resolving conflicts by finding win-win scenarios, identifying tradeoffs, and setting clear priorities Experience in controlling risk and setting priorities Experience in critical thinking and weighing the pros and cons of solutions to problems before choosing the right way forward Experience communicating effectively and often via various media and to different audiences Preferred Qualifications * Experience working across global regions Experience & expertise working with payments (payment processing, payments risk/fraud operations, customer support) Experience resolving and communicating about issues with both technical and non-technical audiences Experience influencing across functional organizations and/or teams with varying priorities or business goals Locations About the Facebook company Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
