Job Summary:

Leader, project coordinator, and mentor of designated information technology teams specifically including Help Desk, Workstation Support, Data Center Operations, hardware and software infrastructure and all computing environments not supported by Huntsville Health.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Leadership/Management:

  • Oversight and delegation of all assigned personnel and their work.

  • Defines resources and schedule for project/program plans

  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

  • Works with PMO to provide documentation for RFP's & project planning

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills

  • Leader and mentor of all applicable IT projects.

  • Collaborate in vendor negotiations and vendor accountability.

  • Leader and mentor in IT and organizational fiscal responsibility.

  • Leader and mentor in customer/organizational privacy and security.

  • Protects customer's rights.

  • Performs team assessments and evaluations.

  • Manages competing demands; uses time effectively.

  • Self-motivated

  • Teaches, coaches, inspires, mentors, empowers others.

  • Customer Service

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experienced in problem analysis and creating solutions

  • Mentoring & leadership in customer relationship management

  • Oversees and maintains on call 24/7 support schedule

  • Demonstrates attention to detail.

  • Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Works to improve team and organizational climate.

  • Technical:

  • Knowledge of data center operations and applications/systems utilization

  • Expertise, mentoring, and leadership in operational and system documentation

  • Experienced in planning for appropriate growth of technology

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education: Require Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, certification, or licensure required for clinical applications.

Experience:

  • Require demonstrated expertise in leadership, personnel interactions, project management, customer support and knowledge of customer environment.

  • Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
