Responsible for overseeing the supplier diversity program by leading and monitoring opportunities for diverse suppliers. You will develop/enhance the Diverse Supplier development strategies by establishing processes around sourcing and contracting assuring compliance with all applicable supplier diversity regulations, reporting requirements & objectives, and participating in professional and community facing outreach.
Roles & Responsibilities
Corporate leadership in initiating, directing and marketing a Supplier Diversity process which provides opportunities to all categories (minority, veteran, women, disability owned businesses, etc.) of diverse suppliers.
Facilitate and maintain vendor relationship, negotiating contracts, creating vendor standards, and finding the best available diverse vendors.
Research diverse vendors to provide the best services within custodial, maintenance, plumbing and other facility management services.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse service providers.
Create and monitor supplier diversity reporting to ensure targets are achieved.
Track diversity spend in accordance with the Company goals.
Manage various supplier diversity initiatives to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Execute communication for internal stakeholders on vendor & supplier diversity.
Consistently identify opportunities for diverse vendors business.
Manage various vendors including but not limited to (custodial, maintenance, plumbing, and other facility management services.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chain management, business, or finance with 5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in vendor & supplier relationship management activities is a must.
May be required to have a valid driver's license.
Good organization and project management skills.
Well-spoken and strong communicator with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
