What You Will Do

As the Manager of Strategic Growth Initiatives at Freshepet, you will have a strong bias for action, be motivated to innovate and will be an outside of the box thinker. This person will serve as a strategic leader within the Growth team, working cross-functionally to deliver both tactical and strategic initiatives.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead large projects and engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally based on the needs of the business

• Take on multiple, diverse projects simultaneously with high visibility

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating effectively with colleagues in both content development and project execution

• Able to research a topic and present findings and recommendations in a well-articulated manner, possessing strong analytical skills

• Able to develop and execute strategies to enter new channels and/or categories

• Able to utilize technology to help the organization work effectively

• Support employee engagement initiatives focused on Pets, People and the Planet

• Lead/support new business ventures and partnerships without disruption to our core business

• Analyze and assess the business and marketplace to inform long -term commercial and corporate strategy and business performance metrics

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in a business related field

• 5+ years of related project management experience and a proven track record to scope projects, manage teams, and deliver results against set expectations (timelines, budgets, etc)

• CPG experience preferred

• Strong commercial mindedness, and able to commercialize an idea

• Forward thinking, creative and comfortable working/leading cross-functional teams

• Strong financial acumen and experience developing a business case

• Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects and thrives in a fast-paced working environment

• Must possess strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders across the organization

• Critical, creative and strategic thinker with a strong consumer-first orientation and problem-solving skills

• Strong understanding of the P&L and levers to drive business
