Manager of Sales Compensation leads a team of financial analysts in driving monthly compensation payment calculations for Medicare & Retirement Telesales and Individual Sales Representatives (ISRs). This individual will work closely with sales team leadership to support telesales activities, provide analysis and reporting, and manage key sales compensation projects. Works closely with sales and other functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting sales compensation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Calculating the incentive compensation of telesales agents, telesales management and individual sales representatives (ISRs), producing and reviewing commission statements, and addressing any compensation inquiries

  • Drive the monthly pay cycle, including adjustment process for agents

  • Manage the payment calculation audit process and resolve accounting and reporting issues. Reviewing compensation statements prior to submitting the files for upload to the payroll systems

  • Manage multiple tasks through completion within the established timelines. If timelines are missed in this role, it will affect the payment of compensation to employee agents and sales management

  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting

  • Liaise with Sales Leadership, Human Capital, Telesales Operations, Compensation Design

  • Manage the Telesales Goal Setting User Interface tool and works with Technology Team to maintain and enhance it

  • Coordinate with staff to prepare analysis of results to understand channel performance

  • Lead various special projects as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field

  • Experience in a management or supervisory role

  • 3 years of experience with finance processes and systems

  • 3 years of experience performing reconciliations for account statements or related documents

  • Ability to utilize MS Access tables to import/export data, ability to review queries for accuracy

  • Advanced analytical and information gathering skills; ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience successfully managing multiple requests, assessing priorities and achieving solutions under deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experience reviewing/auditing commission statements

  • Previous experience with SQL Databases

  • Previous experience within the health care industry and/or Medicare

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
