To support this vision, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is seeking an experienced individual to manager the rewards & recognition in-building experience team. In this role your duties will be split between developing a safety rewards and recognition program and supporting the global roll out of amplifying the benefit of safety initiatives within operations. You will develop and implement a multi-faceted rewards and recognition programs, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, while also driving employee engagement and morale. For the in-site experience program this role supports the implementation strategy and will be responsible for building a launch plan and scaling it from pilot phase to network launch. This role will need to develop a deep understanding of the state of Amazon Operations and identify the stakeholders and programmatic solutions that fit the business, geography, and localized issues that may arise. Key job responsibilities

Reward and Recognition: Develop, socialize, gain approval for, and implement a multi-faceted safety rewards and recognition Pillar within the WHS framework, serving as the subject matter expert and champion for employee recognition initiatives.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic rewards and recognition roadmap tailored to the unique needs and objectives of the organization, with a focus on WHS.

  • Program Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage innovative rewards and recognition programs, including but not limited to employee appreciation events, incentive programs, and recognition platforms.

  • Communication and Engagement: Drive awareness and participation in rewards and recognition initiatives through effective communication strategies, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and participation.

  • Support program lead in end-to-end project management for in-building deployment initiatives, driving successful execution within defined timelines and budgets.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering teams and operations, and vendor partners to drive project milestones and deliverables.

  • Coordinate procurement, contract negotiations, and ongoing performance evaluation to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a comprehensive strategy for in-building deployment.

  • Define objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success measures to guide project implementation and monitor progress.

  • Effectively communicate project updates, status reports, and key milestones to internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with leadership teams to provide visibility into project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Develop a deep understanding of in-building deployment technologies and methodologies, and of industry best practices. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in the field, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement.

About the team

As the Manager of Rewards & Recognition In-Building Experience, your day is a dynamic blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution. You'll lead the charge in designing and implementing innovative recognition programs while supporting the global rollout of in-site experience initiatives. From developing comprehensive strategies to fostering employee engagement and managing cross-functional collaborations, you'll be the driving force behind elevating workplace satisfaction and safety standards. With your background in project management and a keen eye for impactful solutions, you'll navigate deadline-oriented environments with creativity and precision, ensuring every milestone is met with excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience in marketing or marketing research

  • Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing rewards and recognition programs, preferably within the context of workplace health and safety or operations.

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Project management skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within established timelines.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Experience working with internal and external creative support, vendors and procurement.

  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing strategies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • PMP Certification or familiarity with continuous improvement, project management principles, and/or Kaizen Six Sigma

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

  • Proficiency in project management software, Adobe creative suite of products and Asana

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements and identify meaningful observations

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems on a broad scale

  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communication of results to senior leadership

  • Experience communicating to a frontline workforce

  • Background in any of the following: Operations, Design, or Deployment

  • Experience in stakeholder management, including dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Creativity and curiosity, with a solutions-based mentality.

  • Self-motivation and experience working autonomously.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels and manage relationships.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
