SUMMARY:

A Manager of Revenue will be responsible for creating, maintaining and reconciling revenue monthly for NHA partner schools. The main job duties will be ensuring accrued revenue is posted accurately each month and reconciling outstanding balances. The Manager of Revenue will work to integrate and automate the revenue recognitions process using the Student Data System and Financial Data System.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently research key funding and policy updates

  • Manage funding loss due to controllable data/policy issues with cross functional teams

  • Update internal stakeholders of budget impacts and revenue projections

  • Understand funding formulas and drivers of state and local revenue

  • Create/review journal entries to recognize revenue monthly

  • Manage accounts receivable balances and clear them by the end of the fiscal year

  • Analyze and report out on revenue variances

  • Train and lead a high functioning team

  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • CPA preferred

  • Five years experience in revenue tracking, reconciliation preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Oracle/Lawson experience preferred

  • Data Integration experience

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to communicate to various internal and external stakeholders

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
