Job Description

Lead all Quality Engineering functions, personnel, and customer interactions and retain overall responsibility for Quality as it pertains to the Programs and Suppliers. Oversee development and execution of Quality Program plans, which meet all customer requirements. Develop and execute strategies and tactics that result in continuous performance improvement, both internally and throughout the supply chain. Oversee the Supplier Rating process, and continue development of pertinent metrics to identify fertile areas of improvement opportunity. Ensure robust non-conformance and RCCA processes are established and effectively utilized within the context of CPI systems. Drive personal accountability for Quality throughout the Quality Engineering function via mentoring of personnel, and development of metrics that link individuals to Quality performance.

Essential Functions

• Lead Quality Engineering efforts across all CPI Programs and Suppliers

• Lead Quality improvement efforts throughout the enterprise

• Ensure that prime contract Quality requirements are effectively identified and implemented internally and externally

• Oversee and positively influence development of Quality plans

• Support development of production and technical readiness reviews

• Oversee Supplier Rating process, including effective two way communications with suppliers

• Develop and implement trend analysis processes and drive continuous performance improvement

• Oversee the customer MRB approval processes across Programs

• Oversee the corrective and preventive actions as they relate to specific Programs and/or Suppliers

• Administer and maintain CPI's Approved Supplier Listing and associated special approvals

Education/Experience

• 14+ years experience

• Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience

The salary range for this position is : $00,000-$00,000. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law. Individuals are not typically hired at or near the top of the salary range.
