Streamline order and repair processes
Be available for on-call assistance and guidance in support of AOG part procurement
Source, negotiate, and procure products and services including inventory and non-inventory purchases
Track material for AOG, MEL, NEF, and MTI part requirements
Coordinate part arrival with Planning and Maintenance to assure that defects are cleared as quickly as possible
Generate and monitor open order reports to ensure vendors meet required delivery dates
Analyze reorder requisitions and inventory levels, factoring in vendor lead times and product demands to determine reorder levels. Ensure product availability and minimize inventory and transportation costs
Monitor loan activity to ensure all loans are processed and returned expeditiously
Monitor supplier performance and communicate regularly to ensure they are meeting the needs of Sun Country Airlines
Evaluate vendor quotes, turn times, and services to determine most desirable suppliers
Manage and approve repair quotes while analyzing quotes for possible BER determination and scrap.
Ensure Sun Country Airlines' scrap policy is followed and initiate scrap replacement requisitions, as required, to replenish repairable and rotable inventory.
Research and oversee warranty claims on all rotable and expendable component purchases, removals, repairs, and exchanges. Negotiate and expedite favorable settlement for all claims
Follow-up with accounting to ensure proper credit is applied
Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines
Perform other functions as assigned by the Director Materials

Travel: As needed to fulfill MN Airlines d/b/a Sun Country Airlines operational needs.
Required Education and Experience:
B.S. or B.A. degree in Aviation Management, Business, Supply Chain or related major preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Purchasing / Repairs Management with airline experience preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Directs, coordinates and oversees organization's purchasing and repair management policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Ability to perform independently and deliver results to the requisite quality and timeline metrics.
