Manager of Project Management
Direct Hire
Salary is DOE; 120-150k + bonus
San Diego, CA 92123 (Mission Valley)
The company provides real-time remote heart monitoring and analysis. They are partnering with Apple (with the Apple Watch) and will be moving to cloud-based services and newer technologies in the near future.
Required Skills/Experience:
Strong experience as a Project Manager supporting multiple concurrent projects
Previous experience as an engineer
PMP certification
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
Agile methodologies
Bug tracking systems (Jira, TestTrack, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.)
Desired Skills/Experience:
Document control systems (Arena, etc.)
Familiarity with hardware development
Familiarity with manufacturing
Familiarity with FDA guidelines related to medical device development
B.S Degree in an engineering discipline, M.S.
Degree preferred

Skills:
Superior interpersonal skills required to operate within a matrixed R&D organization, and across vertical business groups
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate technically complex ideas to several different audiences
Positive attitude, willingness to collaborate with colleagues, being open about concerns, and taking ownership for outcomes.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the overall governance of product development activities, while being hands-on in the planning and coordination of your own projects.
Supervision of the Project Management team and overall governance for all active projects
Coordinating with stakeholders and functional groups, within our family of companies, to develop project plans for all assigned projects
Identify critical path, project risks and work with functional managers/stakeholders to develop mitigation/prioritization strategies
Work with functional managers to identify resource constraints and gaps and assist in developing remediation plans
Manage partner agreements, reviewing statements of work and master service agreements.
Create and/or assist in the creation, management and maintenance of project related documents
Track and report on project budgets
Prepare reports, as needed, to present to management on the status of projects
Travel, as required, to corporate or partner sites for project coordination

The Project Management Analyst will support Program Manager including Principal Investigators, research scientists, data analysts and subject matter experts. Under direct supervision, this role will support a variety of research projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to take initiative, and work well both independently and in a team environment. Primary Responsibilities * Provide ongoing support to hiring manager by reviewing resumes, sending prescreen questionnaires to applicants, evaluating whether applicants are qualified for job position, tracking applicant status, and coordinating interviews; * Draft job announcements * Submit all forms for clearance requests and transfers; * Serve as the POC for employee onboarding (including I-9 verification) and employee check-out; * Serve as the on-site POC for Leidos equipment tagging and tracking; * Serve as a p-card holder for purchases across 3 Leidos contracts; * Arrange travel and receipts for Leidos non-employees and consultants following all policies and procedures; * Provide ongoing guidance and assistance to staff for timecards, timecard corrections, and expense reports. * Plan and coordinate Leidos team events. * Support ongoing research activities by administering surveys and conducting interviews and focus groups. * Conduct comprehensive literature reviews using Distiller and EndNote * Conduct recruitment with potential participants and verify eligibility * Complete informed consent process with participants * Review, coordinate, and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy * Participate in project related team meetings * Provide regular updates to project managers * Contribute to the development of study materials (e.g., study brochures, participant eligibility screening and recruitment forms, scripts, formatting survey measures and data collection forms) * Explore and select research measures for inclusion in study assessments Basic Qualifications * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Strong interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility * Demonstrated experience in interacting effectively with diverse groups Preferred Qualifications * High School Diploma * One year of experience working with military populations Leidos is a Fortune 500® information technology, engineering, and science solutions and services leader working to solve the world's toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.
