OVERVIEW:

Rehabilitation outpatient facility rated #1 in the Northeast by Newsweek and #3 in the United States by US News is looking to welcome a Manager of Physical Therapists. Candidate will hands on providing Physical Therapy while getting the experience managing a facility. We offer generous student loan assistance and will pay for continuing education.

  • Provides regular and accurate performance feedback to direct reports with focus on results, skill expansion, process improvement and learning.

  • Carries a patient caseload demonstrating both clinical and service excellence with the provision of patient care. Through their actions, consistently demonstrates best practice while communicating with and performing all treatment related responsibilities.

  • Drives continued clinical improvement, utilizing evidenced based practice through the adoption of patient reported outcomes.

  • Communicates with clinical and support staff on coordination of schedules, to reduce lost visits and improve efficiency.

  • Manages scheduling and coordination of vacation, personal and sick time within the center.

  • Monitors key indicators and center metrics to identify opportunities and assists with the development and implementation of action plans to achieve center objectives.

  • Will identify staffing needs and adjust staffing levels to comply with desirable productivity metrics.

  • Communicates directly and effectively with RD/MM and other members of team regarding operational support to ensure uninterrupted quality services and growth.

  • Ensures success of department operations through building employee engagement, effective talent assessment, continual learning and development, cross-training and succession planning.

  • Identifies and initiates own professional growth through continued learning, self-study and involvement in professional activities and organizations.

  • Ensures that direct reports have received upon hire and continue to receive throughout employment the training, information and support to accomplish departmental objectives and meet job requirements.

  • Based on the Competency Program established for direct care providers, possesses the skills and competencies necessary to perform job function in accordance with population served criteria.

  • Provides daily management and supervision of services at assigned center, possesses a diverse knowledge base and skill set to facilitate patient treatment and staff development.

  • Facilitate team dynamics and efficient facility functions. The CM is involved in the organization and the community to help grow the business.

  • Responsible for staff and financial management of the outpatient center, identifies key indicators and influences upon them.

  • Communicates with Regional Director/Market Manager on an on-going basis and provides clinical and operational performance updates.

  • Ensures success of department operations through building employee engagement, effective talent assessment, continual

  • learning and development, cross-training and succession planning.

  • Identifies and initiates own professional growth through continued learning, self-study and involvement.

Provider Based Outpatient Division Center Manager:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current and valid state licensure as a Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapist required. (For Clinical Manager/Speech: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association required.)

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a rehab setting required with supervisory experience preferred.

  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
