SUMMARY:

As the Manager of People Services Business Partners, you will play a pivotal role in driving the HR strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of the organization. You will lead a team of People Services Business Partners (PSBPs) responsible for providing strategic HR support and guidance to NHA partner schools. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that support the overall business objectives while championing a culture of employee engagement, development, and retention.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of PSBPs, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and professional development.

  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and objectives, and develop HR strategies that align with the organization's overall mission and vision. Translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives, programs, and policies.

  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to school and service center leaders, building strong relationships and understanding their unique challenges and needs.

  • Talent Management: Support talent management initiatives, including staffing, employee engagement, and retention of talent.

  • Employee Relations: Provide expertise and guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring effective communication and support for employees during times of organizational change.

  • HR Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.Prepare and present HR reports and insights to senior management.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, and proactively address any compliance issues or concerns.

  • Projects: Lead or participate in people projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes, systems, and practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the PSBP team, seeking feedback and implementing best practices to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

  • May include computer knowledge/experience, ability to travel 5-10%, communication skills, responsibility level, time management, ability to work independently or in a group, etc.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Prior Business Partner or HR Generalist experience preferred.
