Assists Guests with inquiries for restaurant group events by receiving phone calls, conducting site inspections, menu and accessory selection, writing standard and customized menus. When applicable, introduces client(s) to manager of restaurant hosting event. Work closely with all restaurant managers and chefs compiling very accurate and detailed Banquet Event Orders within department time line parameters. Must be able to post event reconciliation and perform light accounting.

Remains informed of current restaurant and lounge information.
Deliver professional and outstanding customer service to all clients and guests.
Seek ways to increase bookings.
Has flexible hours and be able to meet and greet clients at arrival of event when necessary.
Complete task as assigned by Director or Vice President.
Answer the telephone.
Assist in site selections of Food and Beverage Group Events.
Suggestively sell menus, entertainment and dcor for Group Events
Sell events, write menus and Banquet Event Orders, enter data into Delphi/Guestbridge, distribute bookings to management/culinary teams, etc.
Ensure flawless communication of event details.
Communicate with room managers, chefs and supervisors to review selections and special requests.
Must be detail oriented in all work.
Attend departmental meetings.
Attend site inspections, tastings and Pre-Con meetings.
Organize groups, as assigned to them.
Adheres to each restaurants set of rules and parameters.
Attends industry events to network on behalf of property.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer strengths in Word, Excel, and Delphi.
Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
Ability to write professional, grammatically correct letters.
