DescriptionThis position is responsible for the strategic leadership and implementation of digital marketing operations to meet brand and agency growth initiatives. Works with Paycom leaders and partners to scale, streamline and automate systems for increased efficiency, security and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, manage, and hold accountable the marketing website and automation teams. through strategic oversight and leadership
Optimize processes for cross-functional alignment and agility; identifying gaps, address conflict or confusion and propose solutions
Use qualitative and quantitative data sources to optimize automation, content management and operational technology that can strategically pace Paycom marketing growth objectives with scalable management and implementation
Improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness through rigorous operational processes
Partner with marketing directors and leaders regarding website content experience strategy roadmap that focuses on achieving frictionless content experiences that support Paycom's digital customer relationship
Create strategy to improve user experience, engagement and overall performance of the marketing tech stack for internal and external users
Develop and drive marketing technology initiatives, streamline and manage external projects to completion and communication strategy
Inspires the trust of others while working with integrity and a high ethical standard
Leads discussions and collaborations between cross-functional teams
Promotes departments vision and goals across the organization
Proactively learns new tools and proposes new solutions
Contributes to the culture by advocating and driving execution of marketing-driven projects and initiatives through-out the entire company
Available, approachable and willing to advise, assist and train other team members and departments.
Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
Provide clear documentation of all key decisions and project deliverables during and after projects
Clearly communicate issues and expectations with other departments within the company; Coordinate with other departments as needed to plan short and long-term initiatives
Develops and holds a team accountable to their responsibilities with a positive mindset
Assists with special projects as needed and other duties as assigned

QualificationsEducation/Certification:

High School or GED
Bachelor's degree (marketing, business, creative, or similar degree) or equivalent years of experience in marketing and advertising.

Experience:

8+ years online marketing website experience, preferably in B2B and lead gen spaces
8+ years operations and technology experience
8+ years leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's Degree (marketing, business, creative, or similar degree)

Strategic and decisive problem solver
Ability to "work across" in a large corporate environment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Planning, analytical and personal management skills
Deep understanding of content with proven success driving both technical and content-based SEO at an enterprise scale, including ranking factors, algorithms and core SEO principles
Solid understanding of database and website architecture
Solid understanding of metadata, taxonomies and the principles of content management
Deep understanding of the marketing funnel and how technology can be leveraged throughout each stage of conversion
Persuasive and confident communicator, able to represent the business benefit of strategic technology roadmaps to even non-technical teams
Ability to influence
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency
Ability to lead tech initiatives, streamline and manage external projects to completion using expert communication skills and relationship-building
Understanding of how to utilize qualitative and quantitative data sources to create, manage and optimize a conversion rate optimization strategy and testing plan
Provides expertise and advice to teams to increase efficiency
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Enhances the reputation of department and organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing a wide variety of project assignments
Performs a variety of tasks in which a degree of creativity and latitude is required
