As the Manager of Inside Sales at Infragistics, you will lead a dynamic team of inside sales representatives to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets. This role also includes managing our Inside Sales team that works exclusively on renewals. Your leadership and implementation of best practices will be instrumental in achieving our company's sales objectives and driving success in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives to achieve individual and renewal team sales targets.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve company objectives in new and renewal sales.

  • Utilize CRM tools, intent tracking, ABS sales tactics and sales analytics to track progress, analyze sales data, and optimize sales processes.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and pain points to effectively position our software solutions.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address customer requirements and drive value.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales support.

  • Sales Enablement and Training:

  • Work with the Director of Sales Operations to develop and deliver sales training programs to equip inside sales representatives with product knowledge, sales techniques, and objection handling skills.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to enable the sales team to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Stay updated on our products, industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.

  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead generation activities, messaging, and collateral to optimize lead conversion and pipeline development.

  • Work collaboratively with product management to communicate customer feedback and insights for product enhancements and new feature development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, computer science, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales managerial role, preferably in the software development industry.

  • Strong understanding of software development concepts, technologies, and trends.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales automation, intent tracking and management and sales analytics tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, drive results, and foster a collaborative team environment.

  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for driving sales excellence.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in the software development industry is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus.
