JOB SUMMARY: As the Infrastructure Lead, the role will be to ensure sound delivery of technical services for the company with the goals of maximum up time and performance.
You will be a key hands-on leader supporting a data center environment that delivers a mix of hosted and cloud services to users across five locations in the Chicagoland area.
You will be providing a mixture of preventative support, maintenance, and new implementations around a virtualized Windows Server environment, Juniper networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, Riverbed WAN acceleration, VMWare Virtualization, and much more.
You will tackle challenging, unique situations every day and work with many levels of personnel at the company and within the infrastructure team.
You will be looked upon as a subject matter expert and advocate to fellow team members on making reliable technical decisions around supporting and deploying large and small scale services and engineering complex solutions that run the companys business-critical systems.
The successful candidate for this role will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, solid oral/written communication, and presentation skills and a desire to tackle the complex problems.
This role requires a candidate able to excel equally on the technical and management side.
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; a viable combination of experience and education will be considered.
MINIMUM RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated management experience of a team of 4 or more.
Required 5+ years of senior level IT related experience.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Lifting Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
Extensive walking when working on campus.

An ideal candidate will have Plant HR management experience, with the ability to mentor, coach and drive change along with the local management team. Principal Responsibilities: * Selects, mentors and develops a group of highly skilled HR professionals. * Perform difficult staffing duties, including managing understaffed situations, conflict resolution, terminating employees and administering disciplinary procedures. * Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. * Administers Group Insurance, Pension Programs, FMLA, Service Awards, Short Term/Long Term disability, Life Insurance, 401K, sickness and accident insurance and other benefit programs. * Aids in the development of safety policies and programs within corporate guidelines to assure a safe work environment. * Supports plant-wide training needs for all plant, salaried personnel, which include safety, quality and operational guidelines. * Advises plant management regarding local, state and federal employment and labor laws. * Administers Equal Employment Opportunity Program in accordance with corporate policy and federal and state laws. Represents company in unemployment claims determination. * Manages a department by developing and maintaining budgets, setting goals and objectives, determining actions required to meet goals, determining personnel needs and taking action to meet those needs, and appraising the performance of the department and employees. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. At least 8 years of progressively responsible Human Resource experience, including experience as a HR Manager and experience in a manufacturing plant.
