Overview
This Manager of HRIS and Payroll manages all HRIS functions of the Ceridian Dayforce HRIS and Payroll system and manages the payroll team of three professionals. This leadership role oversees the Payroll Team to ensure efficiency, integrity, and accuracy of all work processes and systems related to the management of PCC's wage payment and income tax processes. The Manager will partner with Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, and Store Operations to provide an excellent user experience improve and maintain all systems management of the Ceridian Dayforce HRIS software. The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify and scale processes, procedures, and system functionality for a growing organization. The Manager will also develop and execute controls to maintain strong internal compliance in addition to deployment of other system efficiencies.

Main Job Responsibilities
Provides expertise in the areas of payroll, HRIS solutions, system reporting and analytics.
Manages the Payroll Team and the payroll process cycle.
Acts as a strategic partner to the Human Resources leaders to determine how best to support the organization through HRIS and payroll data.
Ensures all transactions are performed accurately, cost-effectively, and in accordance with business needs.
Provides HRIS software, payroll, and financial technical support for the Co-op.
Reviews, tests, and modifies processes, training materials and reporting.
Manages periodic HRIS system upgrades and oversees planning, testing, configuration, and adoption of new functionalities.
Develops and maintains HRIS solution standards and controls to ensure data integrity, security, and ongoing functionality.
Provides policy and decision-making processes related to payroll compliance.
Provides data analytics, metrics, and reports to management and leadership.
Develops and delivers training, Standard Operating Procedures, and job aids for HRIS, payroll, store management, and staff.
Leads HRIS and payroll-related projects and process changes.
Anticipates future HR needs and ensures HRIS software is able to meet PCC's future needs.
Must maintain objectivity and discretion with highly sensitive information as well as strict company and employee confidentiality.
This position works consistently at a light physical work level and may be asked to work on occasion at a medium or heavy physical work level when supporting stores or other offsite events. Frequently required to sit, walk, reach, and grasp. Occasionally required to be on feet with a mix of standing and walking throughout shift.

Qualifications and Skills
REQUIRED:
Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive customer service orientation toward staff and the public.
6-10 years of progressive experience in HRIS and Payroll.
Superior knowledge of HRIS systems, specifically Ceridian Dayforce, or a similar HRIS / Payroll system
Working knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, wage and hour law, and human resources systems required.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and problem solve with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and ability, remotely and in person.
Advanced knowledge of Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook with emphasis on proficient use of Excel and Dayforce reporting required.
Ability to create, generate and modify system reports and solve complex data and system issues.
Experience training staff on HRIS system usage.
Ability to develop and grow a team of Payroll and HRIS professionals.
Available to work some evenings and weekends, as needed, and able to travel to all store locations and to other work-related locations when needed.
Experience working in a union environment.
