The responsibilities for this opportunity include, yet are not limited to:
Manage and monitor global monthly close, consolidation, and reporting process to ensure results are reported timely and accurately
Involvement in month end closing general ledger activities. This includes reviewing journal entries, royalty payments, and account reconciliations
Prepare and analyze profit in inventory consolidation related elimination entry monthly
Prepare and submit consolidated financial results and reporting supplementals through Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) database
Provide oversight and governance surrounding global accounting policies. This includes implementing new accounting policies and procedures both within the finance shared service organization and business units
Coordinate and collaborate with auditors to address external and internal audit requests and inquiries
The ideal candidate should be highly scalable, possess excellent analytical and communication skills (interaction with upper management), have a solid foundation in accounting concepts, strong financial systems knowledge and have the ability to work with a sense of focused urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop quickly through challenging responsibilities and assignments surrounded by a group of strong and dedicated professionals.
BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting
CPA license required
9 years mix of public accounting and private experience, with progressive responsibility in the accounting function.
Excellent written and oral communications skills (large amount of interaction with upper management) required.
Knowledge of Excel, Word, and advanced PC skills.
