Manager Of Gifts Processing & Acknowledgements (49634)

Serve under the leadership of the Director of Advancement Services, Gifts Processing and Donor Acknowledgements in the Division of Institutional Advancement. Responsible for recording funds received daily, directing them to the appropriate accounts, receipting and acknowledging funds to donors; tracking fulfillment of pledges, sending appropriate statements of accounts and acknowledgements; and maintaining up-to-date records of alumni and their giving activities.

Facilitate prompt acknowledgement and stewardship of funds; prepare special reports and charts; and manage the donor listing, the Blackbaud and JENZABAR EX Systems, and all fundraising reports associated with systems. Prepare the "Honor Roll of Donors" report for publication and donor information for University publications. Serve as the liaison between the Cashier's Office and Division of Institutional Advancement and maintain a file of receipting documentation and daily deposits. Develop thank you letters for all gifts received by the University and perform any other duties within the scope of this position as may be assigned by the Vice President, Associate Vice President and/or President.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in a related field preferred with two to three years of related experience. Candidate must be knowledgeable of various computer software and preferably the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge system.

He/she must possess excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills. Demonstrated recordkeeping skills and sensitivity to the personal needs of various publics are essential.
