POSITION SUMMARY:The Manager of Foundation Programs is directly responsible for supporting the organization's fundraising efforts through the donor and volunteer database systems, in addition to providing appropriate staff coordination, financial reporting, and exceptional customer service. The Manager plays a key role in the work of the foundation and is often the first point of contact for foundation information.
The position reports to the Executive Director of the foundation and works with several offices within PruittHealth that provide assistance to the foundation.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Promote the mission of the PruittCares Foundation.
Provide administrative management of the day-to-day activities of the foundation, overseeing data and records, and managing foundation programs (Family Outreach, Camp Cocoon, donor acknowledgement and recognition, etc.). Work with the foundation executives to facilitate the success and expansion of programs.
Work with communities, organizations and persons to promote and develop financial resources, quality programming and service opportunities to care for those in need. Facilitate coordination of foundation activities with various departments within PruittHealth that provide assistance to the foundation including finance, accounting, legal, human resources, IT, and others. Establish positive working relationships with all partners of PruittHealth as well as with the volunteers who support the PruittCares Foundation.
Provide an expertise in managing the details and exhibit a proclivity for excellence in all activities of the foundation. Willingness to adapt and think creatively in the midst of a growing organization.LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of four years of professional experience; work in nonprofit fundraising, grants administration, and/or database management is a plus.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Experience with fundraising (Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud) or other CRM or database software preferred, including ability to create database queries and reports Strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to balance and manage multiple tasks and projects Able to meet deadlines with strong attention to details Excellent customer service skills and able to work well with a diverse group of staff, donors, volunteers, board members, and other stakeholders A commitment to the foundation's programs A healthy sense of empathy, humor, compassion, and joy.MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of ScienceMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Professional office experience is mandatory.
