Learn and grow with MaineHealth through our training and education opportunities.Your Role:The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis plays a key role in the financial planning, budgeting, decision support and analysis for CHA. This position supports and partners with the Director of Finance and CFO and other organizational managers to drive operating efficiencies throughout the organization. This position oversees the direct day-to-day operations of the financial planning and analysis team.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):* Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance is required with a Master's preferred. * License/Certifications: Credentials such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), FHFMA or FACHE are preferred. * Experience: Minimum of three to five years' experience in a healthcare related environment with training and/or applied knowledge in the use of decision support systems, governmental cost reporting, operational budgeting, and variance analysis preferred. * Management: Minimum of three to five years' management experience with the ability to mentor and empower staff; to set the climate for cooperation, teamwork, and productivity. * Expertise with Microsoft Office products, experience with Lawson general ledger, decision support system software, Vizient/Truven Analytics Action OI, StrataJazz or similar analytical software preferred. * Self-directed and self-motivated with a firm understanding of leadership role; skilled change agent. * Effective communicator with the ability to create strong partnerships and serve as a role model through professional behavior and open, direct communication.
