Job Summary: Ecolab has an opening for a Sr Finance Manager - FP&A, in our Paper North America Finance Team, located in Naperville, IL. This position will serve as a key financial adviser and value-added business partner to the General Manager, Vice President of Sales, and Marketing leads of the business. This includes P&L and balance sheet management, and reporting/presentation of the Division's financials. This position will work closely with legal, marketing, human resources, operations, and other internal departments as needed to support the business.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as primary operating partner to the General Manager, understanding and driving key elements of the business to achieve financial goals

  • Responsible for driving key initiatives in the business including receivables reductions, margin improvement projects and process simplification

  • Work directly with General Manager, Vice President of Sales, and Marketing to provide financial support in the areas of monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting

  • Lead the month end close process; P&L/balance sheet management, monthly/quarterly accruals, understanding of all accounting controls and processes, etc.

  • Management and development of more junior financial associates, as appropriate

  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to internal and external customers as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

  • 7+ years finance/accounting experience

  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and policy work

  • Ability to lead change and ensure business continuity

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Technical skill set should include: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point), SAP, Business Intelligence (BI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience is a plus, but not necessary

  • Advanced degree

  • Result oriented; proactive; and possesses a high level of integrity

  • Must demonstrate overall business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
