Position Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that support the goals of the Advancement department to include, but not limited to, donor, parent, and alumni relations.
Responsibilities:
Lead negotiations for event space contracts, event arrangement, and ordering of supplies.
Oversight of design and event materials including event signage, invitations, responses and marketing materials.
Manage onsite production including event materials, set up and tear down.
Assist with budget preparations for events and tracking of event financials including check requests, invoicing, and reporting.
Lead the logistical strategy and implementation of Advancement events such as Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.
Work closely with the Advancement team to lead and plan the logistics of Avila University's main fundraising event
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years' event planning
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
In-depth experience with Microsoft Suite
Multilingual skills highly preferred
