This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000
• Sign on Bonus: Case by Case
• Nights Monday- Friday 7 pm- 3 am

Responsibilities

• Helps create a superior clinical identity by operationalizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes. Ensures adherence to standards of care.
• Supports efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost. Ensures a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care.
• Instills accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader.
• Helps identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction. Develops and implements strategies to elevate the patient experience.
• Leads in a way that inspires commitment to the vision, mission, and values of the organization while implementing employee engagement practices.
• Provides coaching, training and feedback to improve performance.
• Represents the organization positively within the community and participates in company events.
• Maintains staffing in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
• Manages operating expenses, including the utilization of supplies and equipment. Identifies cost reduction opportunities and implements actions to achieve savings.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Acute Care ED RN experience.
• 2-3 years of ED Acute Care in a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Manager role required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Registered Nurse and Associate Degree
