Overview
We're looking for a Manager of Contracts for Managed Care to join our growing team! In your role, you will be integral to overseeing and supporting contracting activities and contract management functions for Community Health System and clients. We're looking for a team leader with exceptional communication skills who will provide direction and guidance to assigned staff. From interdepartmental relations and personnel management, to budget support, to fiscal control, you will be a key resource at various levels of our contracting activities.

Responsibilities
In your role, you will:
Provide direction and supervision to assigned department staff in areas of contracting, contract management and provider relations.
Be responsible for evaluating and negotiating contracts with health plans and other payors on behalf of the Community Health System and practice management clients.
Act as a liaison with Patient Financial Services, physician offices and health plans to resolve contractual issues and ensure compliance with negotiated contractual terms.
Be responsible for building and maintaining productive and positive relationships with physicians, office staff, facilities, brokers and health plans.
Assign, direct and review the work of subordinates, manage staffing and scheduling functions to achieve department objectives.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field required
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and 7 years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree requirement
