The Manager, Consumer Engagement oversees the enrollment, education, engagement, and activation duties for client groups regardless of segment, and for product where warranted. The Manager, Consumer Engagement works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.
The Manager of Consumer Engagement contributes to business strategy by understanding benefit offerings to ensure enrollment success, identifying member education opportunities to drive maximum utilization of available resources, and directing clients on the use of available resources. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department. Fully engage, manage and mentor team of consumer engagement professionals. Maximize wellness integration and effectively communicate in the marketplace who we are as a company. Analyze opportunities and gaps between account management and sales to optimize success in the market. Performs other relevant duties deemed necessary to achieve department and company-wide goals. Manage the North Florida territory which is comprised of approximately 62 counties.
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Business Management, Marketing and/or other relevant degree
Active resident health and life insurance licenses in state of Florida
5+ years of experience in the healthcare or wellness solutions industry
2+ years of management experience
Prior demonstrated experience with process improvement or process design and implementation
Ability to analyze trends and present data in reader-friendly formats
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to travel assigned territory at a rate of approximately 30%
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
