You will consult with line of business and other HR leaders in the development, management, and administration of compensation programs to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives, policies, and government regulations.

Responsibilities of the Corizon Health Compensation Manager

  • You will provide guidance and advice on compensation policies, pay decisions, wage and hour regulations, and creative solutions for specific compensation issues.

  • You will manage the Compensation team in support of the business development function, including Request for Proposal research and analysis, and contract award start up activities.

  • You will manage the evaluation, analysis and documentation of salary data. Lead the participation of salary surveys, & the creation and maintenance of salary structures and comprehensive job description libraries.

  • You will oversee the administration of annual merit and performance review processes. Analyzes data to ensure budgetary compliance and provides reports to Executive Management.

  • Using market pricing software, you will assist in preparing analysis and interpretation of external market information for development of salary ranges. Completes ad hoc market pricing requests from corporate and field HR personnel.

  • Ensures compensation pay plans are in compliance with federal/state wage and hour regulations. Responsible for the development of various communications, such as plan documents, plan changes and employee notices.

  • Create and manage administrative processes and policies to maintain and ensure compliance with applicable local, state and Federal laws and regulations by monitoring and responding to new and emerging legislation that impacts compensation programs; guide and educate HR Business Partners on compensation related topics and issues.

Qualifications of the Corizon Health Compensation Manager

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and 5 years related experience required. Healthcare experience strongly preferred.

  • Expert Microsoft Office suite experience; especially Excel.

  • Knowledge of leading practices and external trends in compensation, Total Rewards and HR technology systems

  • Demonstrated track record and ability to lead and managing a successful Compensation function, designing and developing compensation strategies and plans

  • Knowledge of the legal environment of compensation at National, State and Local levels. Experience in compliance with regulations

  • Occasional travel up to 10% to: correctional facilities, regional offices, client and/or vendor sites
