Provides strategic direction and leadership for the Business Intelligence (BI) team.Ensures BI is aligned evelops roadmaps, prioritizes effectively, and executes projects; assures delivery of business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting solutions.
Leads key strategic project initiatives as assigned, developing comprehensive project plans, time- lines, resource plans, communications, and other documentation.Interfaces with executives on a continual basis to ensure effective communications of project status and other major initiatives. Designs and implements highly automated business reporting and dashboard processes to provide daily, weekly, and monthly visibility on business performance and trends.Leads efforts to consolidate reporting platforms and provides vision for OEC reporting roadmap

Drives adoption and usage of OEC Business Intelligence tools throughout the enterprise.
Manages/maintains data warehouse systems and related reporting tools, standards, and processes.
Manages department budget, authorizes expenditures and monitors resources allocations.Maintains inventory controls and assists with forecasting and budgeting for future needs.
Evaluates, negotiates and manages third-party vendor relationships; minimizes organizational cost through consolidation and standardization.
Supports and partners with the Product organization.Work closely with product to provide data-driven decision making and measures for success in initiatives.
Establishes and communicates performance goals, objectives and standards; evaluates performance and coaches direct and indirect reports to personal and enterprise success.
An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, related work and qualified experience in all things data warehouse & business intelligence may offset the degree requirement. In addition to the education outlined above, the ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience of up to three (3) years with data warehouse and business intelligence teams in similar large data-volume environments. Experience working with Web-scale databases, Hadoop, or NoSQL technologies; in-depth knowledge and application of commercial BI tools or emerging BI technologies is essential. Able to work well independently by prioritizing tasks and deliverables, yet able to provide guidance to those on the team; identifies and resolves ongoing issues for direct reports. Demonstrated genuine passion and thought-through approaches to creatively developing highly-performing teams that build and analyze large complex data-sets in a rapidly changing environment.
