This position will be responsible for directing the activities of the nursing unit by overseeing the day to day operations of the department, participating in long term planning and execution of department plans, implementing new programs or services, and developing and maintaining knowledgeable and highly competent staff. Minimum Education Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Minimum Work Experience 5 Years# experience in nursing in hospital setting# Required Licenses/Certifications Licensed in the State of Vermont. BLS Certification through American Heart Association. Unit-specific certifications as required (ACLS, PALS, NRP, EFM, and STABLE) per specific department operational framework. Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification based on department specific guidelines. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong knowledge and skills related to clinical nursing practice Demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to education as a methodology for promoting continuous quality improvement in the delivery of patient care and services. Effective and timely oral and written communicates skills# Clinical program development Basic Microsoft desktop application and navigation skills. Pay Range = $91,000 - $146,000 #PM24 #
