Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s). Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.

Required Qualifications:
Meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas.
Coursework/Training: JACC Medical Oncology and Physicians Offices:
Maintains radiation safety training annually.
Maintains conscious sedation education annually
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, for:
Hospital/Clinic.
Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services Education and Research.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Pediatric Emergency Department.
Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.
JACC, Within 2 years of employment.
Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
TNCC, ENPC - TNCC and ENPC Instructor preferred (for Manager, Pediatric Trauma Program) upon hire
3 years Professional nursing experience.
2 years Clinical experience in specific clinical area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, for: Staffing Operations Nurse Manager
Master's Degree Nursing, for:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Pediatric Emergency Department.
Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.
Master's Degree For Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiac Services Education and Research.
Specialty certification related to practice upon hire.
Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association upon hire.
National oncology certification (OCN), Maintains chemotherapy hospital-based certification every 2 years (for JACC Medical Oncology and Physicians Offices) upon hire.
Supervisory/leadership experience.
