The Manager is a key member of the Hospital#s leadership team and represents the Nursing Division on several interdisciplinary workgroups. Minimum Qualifications:# Education:#BSN required; MS preferred.# Required Licenses
#Current California RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS).# PALS and#TNCC preferred for ED Manager. Experience:#3 # 5 years related departmental experience. 2 years leadership experience (i.e. charge nurse); previous management experience preferred.# Skills
#Basic proficiency with PC, word processing, spreadsheets.
Effective written and verbal skills.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Previous CQI experience.
Previous electronic medical records (I.e.
EPIC) preferred.# Good crisis management/prioritization abilities. Physical Requirements:# Sit: Up to 3 hours/day# Stand/Walk: 6-8 hours# Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours
Up to 6 hours# Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs# Lift/Push/Pull: 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment# This job requires the ability to hear alarms clients and/or instruction.
