Summary: The Manager Network Services will direct, plan, coordinate, design and architect technical services delivered by the Global Network Teams. To provide strategic direction and support for the operational activities of the global data, LAN/WAN, Wireless networks. To work closely with leadership in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. To define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Network Services staffing, including, supervision, scheduling, evaluation, and recruiting.

  • Develop staff by identifying growth opportunities and continuous improvements activities.

  • Direct the activities of network administrators to complete technology projects that support key business objectives and promote a reliable technical infrastructure supporting the global 24x7x365 business requirements.

  • Define and implement the strategy for the Network Services operation.

  • Direct and establish priorities of the Network Services team regarding the design, installation, and maintenance of all data, voice, and video communications networks globally.

  • Ensure the efficient and trouble-free operation of all data and voice communication equipment throughout the global enterprise.

  • Manage offshore resources for staff augmentation.

  • Define and implement the strategy for the Site Administration operation.

  • Direct and establish priorities of the Site Administration team regarding the delivery of a reliable technical environment for the North American Ball Plant systems by implementing high availability solutions that are properly patched, backed up, secured, sized, monitored and that comply with Acushnet's server standards; ensure that hardware and software problems are resolved per established Service Level Agreements.

  • Partner with the Application Development groups, Operational Engineering teams and outside vendors to plan and coordinate the purchase, installation and implementation of Networking and computer hardware and software to meet organizational need.

  • Develop, recommend, and implement operational techniques and methodologies that ensure efficient use of networking systems and personnel.

  • Oversee the identification and resolution of problems and concerns associated with, application systems, data, voice and video communications.

  • Authorize and oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of Networking infrastructure hardware and software based on department needs.

  • Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.

  • Ensure service levels with the business are established and define methods to measure customer satisfaction.

  • Develop, implement and enforce global IT policies and procedures, related to networking IT security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.

  • Ensure the policies and procedures are effectively communicated and adhered to by staff members.

  • Work with IT staff in other locations to ensure that their networking and IT services meet Acushnet Company standards for support, management, and compliance.

  • Develop methods to track and measure to these standards.

  • Act as a Project Manager for all assigned projects that have visibility at the PMO level.

  • Additionally, work closely with other project managers & PMO to manage the allocation of resources on the Network Services, provide regular formal status updates and complete PMO reporting tasks on a monthly basis.

  • Manage an annual operating and capital expense budget.

  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.

  • This includes monthly management of all invoicing and spending, including approvals, planning, and reforecasting, as well and managing service chargebacks across departments.

Requirements:

  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a global 24X7 Network organization required.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure; Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a team-oriented, cross functional, collaborative environment; Strong negotiating skills and the ability to effectively resolve conflicting priorities from multiple internal customers; Strong decision making skills, take charge personality and the ability to drive a plan to completion; Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills; Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user- friendly language; Experience in IT security, Global WAN, SDWAN,LAN, Wireless, VOIP, Cloud, SaaS, IaaS technologies; willingness and ability to work in fast paced Global environment.
