Located in any of the following HCSC offices - Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, Richardson or San Antonio this position is responsible for managing staff responsible for contracting providers using standard provider contracts. Provider outreach and communication related to standard network contracting. Assigns responsibilities to team members. Training, counseling, developing and monitoring an effective communication/training program to keep network staff apprised of new/additional servicing responsibilities. This includes provider contracting, outreach, and other supervisory responsibilities and regulatory bodies for development of goals and implementation of initiatives and special projects. Develop and maintain processes and ensure team meets/exceeds goals. Work across the company in resolution of issues and represent company to external entities.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute provider standard contracting, including outreach and reporting activities around provider demographic activities, regulatory requirements and network builds.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Health Care, Accounting or Business Administration OR 9 years of health care administration or managed care experience *5 years network management experience.

  • 3 years supervisory or management experience.

  • Knowledge of health care, database systems and network management contracting operations.

  • Critical thinking, creativity, innovative and analytical skills and knowledge of management reporting.

  • Experience meeting deadlines, handling multiple priorities in a dynamic fast paced environment and working well under pressure.

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Planning and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in PC including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Experience developing desk level procedures.

  • Experience implementing new systems and tools used by Network Management.

  • Experience working to create processes across departments.

  • Experience managing production staff to achieve goals.

This role must be on-site in one of the following HCSC offices: Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston, Richardson or San Antonio
