The Accreditation Manager will coordinate the Quality Management and Performance Improvement Program for MSMC consistent with the facilities strategic plan. Facilitates Performance Improvement projects following the PDSA methodology, analyzes outcomes and develops action plans.
Coordinates all aspects of the performance improvement program to include all standards required under the Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation for hospital, Promary Stroke and Heart Failure. Serves as the Performance Improvement liaison for nursing and other clinically based departments. Prepares summary reports of quality and performance improvement with action taken for appropriate committees.
The individual will be closely involved in survey presentation and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. Plans, coordinates and provides for in-service education related to Quality, accreditation and performance improvement as needed for all hospital personnel in accordance with identified needs and state guidelines. Collects and reviews hospital-wide quality monitoring reports on a quarterly basis and follows up on identified opportunities for improvement. Ensures that an action plan is performed and implemented for trends/patterns identified.
Bachelor's Degree. State of Florida RN License is preferred.
Detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work with all levels of staff inclusive of physicians, health care providers and high-level executives.
Good public speaker. Strong analytical skills including a working knowledge of basic stastical analysis methodologies. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently. Experienced in dealing with CMS and AHCA regulations.
