Our Merchant Services team lies at the heart and soul of DoorDash, ensuring that we set all of our merchants up for success by providing a seamless onboarding, menu, and photo experience. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our merchant services engine must grow with it.

About the Role

The Merchant Services Manager is responsible for overseeing one or more critical business functions for our onboarding, activations, or services teams. In addition to working with senior leadership to plan the strategy and tactics to meet or exceed our service level agreements, you will manage a team of supervisors and individual contributors, including day to day work, career development, and regular feedback on their contributions.

The Role Wells Fargo Merchant Services specializes in providing solutions such as credit card, debit card; check guarantee, e-commerce and gift cards to businesses of all sizes. The Account Management Leader will provide strategic direction, financial management and leadership for all aspects of the of Merchant Services Account Management organization. This highly visible position reports directly to the Segment Business Leader and can be located in San Francisco, Minneapolis, or Charlotte (other locations may be considered). Key responsibilities include leading the Merchant Services Account Management team, and partnering with product, credit, service, risk, technology and distribution. This role will have frequent interaction with Wholesale banking leadership, including Treasury Management leadership and will proactively drive expansion of the business through deepening existing relationship and supporting new customer acquisitions. Responsible for maintaining and developing Treasury Management or Merchant Services business for a major geographic area(s), multiple product line(s) or multiple industry segment(s). This is a strategic leadership role which includes managing Account Managers, developing business strategies and sales objectives to support them; and managing recruitment, training and motivation of sales teams. Ensures that AM organization drives the relationship management effort is integrated with product development and customer service requirements.
