Client Solutions is WMC's integrated marketing center of excellence for centralized, end-to-end insights-led marketing strategy, strategic omnichannel planning and activation of custom category, cross-category, tentpole and custom advertiser solutions across Walmart's touchpoints-at an unparalleled scale.

We partner with suppliers to co-create industry-first programs and breakthrough experiences that connect brands with Walmart customers, aligning goals with Walmart Merchandising and Marketing and Site priorities to jointly drive commercial success.

JOB OVERVIEW

Walmart Connect (WMC) is looking for a Manager of Integrated Capabilities to join our team, which serves as a link between WMC functions and the broader Walmart enterprise. This role is responsible for aligning strategy and execution process across Walmart+ (Walmart's membership program) initiatives, WMC proof of concept media tests, measurement, and other monetization opportunities. We also vet new integrated capabilities to help our Client Solutions team deliver best-in-class programs.

This role will require a multi-dimensional associate that can work across business units in the Walmart enterprise and has demonstrated success in navigating complex, multi-layered organizations to create positive, quantifiable business outcomes.

Ideal candidate:

We are looking for an exceptionally strong, strategic, and effective individual who is influential, highly energized, and capable of driving internal cross-functional collaboration and workstreams within WMC and Walmart. The ideal candidate is strategic and outcomes-oriented, highly competent operating in matrixed organizations, values storytelling and getting things done. Program development and digital media experience is a must, bonus points for anyone with a client solutions background in a media publisher or agency and/or retail marketing experience. You must be comfortable working with uncertainty, and you have experience pivoting quickly while managing both internal and external expectations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaboration:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing Strategy, Client Solutions, Business Analytics, Sales Strategy, Creative, Marketing Operations, Walmart Plus Marketing and Business teams) to execute campaigns and ensure consistent brand messages across all channels.

  • Identifies, collects, and shares critical information (e.g., supplier Walmart+ opportunities, 3rd party vendors capabilities) with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure exceptional execution.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Builds cross-category Walmart+ programs; socializes marketing strategy with other marketing leaders and associates and represents marketing plans in cross-functional venues.

Creative Development:

  • Works closely with our internal creative agency to develop creative solutions to meet both our supplier and enterprise partner's needs.

Campaign Management:

  • Support execution of multiple enterprise projects by identifying customer and operational needs.

  • Manages timelines and deliverables for ongoing and opportunistic programs.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with key marketing/media vendors to support the growth of a toolbox for others in client solutions to use/test.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.

  • A proven record developing strategy, integrated marketing, promotional programs on the media or marketing arm of an omnichannel or e-commerce retailer, the commerce side of a media company or agency.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • Experience and influence driving cross-functional partnerships.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Are aligned to Walmart values: service to customer; respect for individual; strive for excellence; act with integrity.

THE BONUS - STRONGLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or advanced-level academic degree strongly preferred.

  • Walmart enterprise experience.

  • Media sales account management or sales support experience.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
