  • The Marketing Manager for Hardware will be responsible and accountable for downstream marketing activities and business growth for the chemistry and immunoassay instrument business for the AU Chemistry, Synchron Chemistry and Access Immunoassay product lines.

  • Execute marketing plans for new product launches to increase market in key customer segments (IDNs, GPOs, Government, Commercial Labs and Distribution/Channel partners).

  • Develop and execute programs and communication campaigns to promote and drive menu expansion and growth

  • Coordinate customer symposiums and user group meetings to drive customer retention.

  • Create sales tools and training in alignment with menu expansion and new product launch goals

  • Marketing liaison/lead for assay sales consultant team

  • Market intelligence serve as expert on customers, customer needs and buying criteria for menu and disease states. develop strategies and action plans for

  • Demand generation develop strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products

  • Establishes methods and metrics to track key performance indicators, including market share and market penetration


  • 10 years with a BA or 8 years with Masters. Advanced degree a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3 years clinical laboratory experience, clinical chemistry and/or immunoassay preferred

  • 7 years downstream marketing experience in IVD assays and or disease state marketing

  • Ability to work in a large, matrixed organization. The candidate must have a working knowledge of the principal areas and role of Marketing, Sales, Service, Manufacturing, Planning, R & D, QA and Business Development.

  • High energy, self-starter with bias for action and sense of urgency

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to perform exceptionally well in fast paced, performance oriented environment.
