  • Be a bridge between the analytics and marketing teams at LendingTree

  • Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods to understand patterns and offer insights for maximizing revenue and improving products

  • Develop analytical frameworks and models to optimize performance and process efficiency.

  • Work with marketing channel leads to help drive media for growth, develop new strategies and communicate results, and provide marketing with data driven insights

  • Drive strategic marketing projects such as attribution, LTV, Segmentation and Media Mix Modeling in support of company's long-term company strategy

  • Work with Product team to design, conduct and analyze A/B tests.

  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to work on innovative ideas to increase market share

  • End to end analytical projects: conduct internal analysis, research competitors and digest industry reports to recommend new strategies and then track the initiative & report on its impact.

  • Become well-versed in digital analytics tools to track and understand full-funnel performance.


  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or other quantitative field.

  • 5-10 years of experience in quantitative analysis and data science.

  • Strong experience using SQL and working with large datasets.

  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to drive actionable insights; a proven influencer with excellent communication skills.

  • Superior problem-solving & critical thinking skills. You know how to rip apart difficult problems and construct elegant solutions.

  • Strong business acumen. You build profit and loss models in your sleep.

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and machine Learning models.

  • Expert data harmonization skills questions every data point before relying on it.

  • Individual Contributor work with least guidance, and a Team Player can mentor & guide others.

  • Build predictive models and matching algorithms to optimize marketing spend and revenue.

  • Experience working with digital marketing (PPC) and consumer websites. Transaction-based B2C sites preferred

As analytical partner for CareCredit Marketing and other cross functional teams, this role will manage provider campaign operations, from supporting campaign from design to campaign execution and campaign performance analyses. This role will help influence campaign strategy and execution, optimizing the marketing investment. Essential Responsibilities: * Act as business consultant, offer analytical and strategic thinking for Provider campaigns and marketing investment. Understand business needs and requirements, translate needs and requirements into data and metrics. Standardize processes * Conduct extensive analysis of Industry performance trends, provide insightful business performance analyses and make recommendations to senior leadership team * Lead marketing analytics efforts to support CareCredit provider Campaign Operations. Supervise offshore resources relative to execution of campaigns * Provide primary analytics support to develop and implement B2B and B2B2C marketing strategies; analyze, measure and optimize campaign and program performance * Partner with the marketing teams as well as marketing partners from various functional areas, including finance, credit, strategic initiatives, IT, risk, operations, sales, business development, legal and compliance, etc. * Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and a minimum of 7+ years of analytical experience in financial services * If not located in Costa Mesa, willing to travel up to 25% of the time * 3+ years of analytics work experience, including: * 3+ years of analytical experience with analytical tools such as SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, SQL, Advanced Excel, BI applications such as Tableau, or other analytical tools * 3+ years of experience in identifying issues or trends, interpreting data from multiple sources, driving improvement of results and finding solution Desired Characteristics: * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) * MBA or Master's degree in finance, mathematics, or other quantitative field * Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to build business case and influence senior leadership decisions * Strong skills in project management, communications, multi-tasking, ability to work independently, and relationship management are keys to success * Demonstrated ability to manage complex and multiple initiatives, form business insights and provide wing-to-wing analytic support in a fast-paced environment * Ability to analyze diverse information, develop and recommend strategies, and articulate clearly to business partners and customers * Solid understanding of financial service industry financial P&L drivers and key sensitivities, with business performance reporting experience * Healthcare, credit card and/or financial service industry experience a plus Eligibility Requirements: * You must be 18 years or older * You must have a high school diploma or equivalent * You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the selection process * You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. * Effective 1-1-18, new hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
