Manager, Market Access Marketing
Ferring Pharmaceuticals is building its Oncology division with a mission to create a new standard of care for people living with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer who are unresponsive to BCG treatment, a population in urgent need of novel, effective and well-tolerated therapies. With an investigational therapy in Phase 3 clinical development, Ferring is building its commercial Uro-Oncology team and seeks candidates who share our experience and passion.

The Manager, Market Access Marketing, will assist in development and refinement of strategy for a new oncology product launch, with flawless execution support for key payer marketing initiatives. He/she will work with cross-functional colleagues from HEOR, Brand Marketing, and creative agencies to help generate key messages and tactics to support access, coverage and reimbursement goals. The payer marketer will support marketing efforts in customer strategy, planning and execution (e.g., training, account management tools/resources, and POA needs) for the customer facing teams.
Lead person for Market Access Agency of Record (AOR) and other vendor (non-hub) relationships to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while remaining on budget; condition partners for executional excellence and hold them accountable to success metrics.
Manage Agency/vendor contract processing (purchasing requisitions, invoices, and approvals).
Support the development and deployment of payer marketing unbranded and branded initiatives including objective setting, content development, internal Promotional Review Committee review,
QC, production, deployment/distribution to the field and performance measurement.
Collaborate with multiple functional groups across the organization, including but not limited to Sales, Regulatory, Market Access, Market Research, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Medical Affairs
Lead all payer pull-through initiatives, including design and implementation of key field access tools and resources
Partner with brand teams to drive patient service offerings through provider offices.
Develops insights, strategies, and tactics for reimbursement, distribution, and access to include, but not limited to coverage dashboards, access website support, payer team tools, provider access tools, sales team messaging and access-related sales tools.
Develop dashboards, KPIs and any other analytics to inform strategies and/or report performance.
Provide program support for the Reimbursement and Account Management team.
Train sales/FRM/account teams on Market Access Programs
Agency management may include:
Troubleshoot issues and recommend areas of improvements
Identification of efficiencies and enhancements
Regular meetings to maintain a close relationship with the Agency
Measure and interpret data and KPIs of vendors. Support on-going initiatives and offer insights to enhance program and increase operational effectiveness
Pharm D. or Masters is preferred
Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
Minimum 2 years of payer marketing or payer experience preferred
Office-administered product experience is preferred
Experience working with agencies, vendors and getting results and reports from outsourcing partners
Experience working in Managed Markets groups or with industry data preferred
Knowledge and experience in Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer policies, reimbursement process, health policy, areas of coverage, payment, coding, Specialty Pharmacy, and buy-and-bill
Experience in patient-focused programs within associated HIPAA regulations and other legal
Ability to think strategically and deliver solutions to complex business challenges
Demonstrated ability to work well independently in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and self-prioritize workload
Ability to perform and present data analysis
Demonstrated proficiency in project managing large projects across teams on time
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Strong PowerPoint skills and presentation development
