Reporting to the Senior Director North America Financial Planning & Analysis, the Manager North America Manufacturing FP&A is responsible for forward-looking partnership to drive achievement of goals and objectives of the manufacturing organization within the ~$1.5B North America James Hardie Building Products business. You will be responsible for long-range strategic planning, annual operating plan, as well as lead the monthly forecast and business performance assessment for our 9 US plants. In addition to working across the North America manufacturing leadership to drive business decision-making, you will play a key role in advancing the planning environment, including a supporting role in the finance IT systems strategy and process redesign.
Deliver business planning partnership that delivers forward-looking analytics and predictable results
Lead long-range strategic planning process, including three-year strategic plan and one-year operating plan
Drive forward-looking analytics to drive operational action that achieve business goals
Manage connectivity across manufacturing and finance to translate business drivers into financial impacts
Own standardization, process improvement and best practice sharing across NA manufacturing finance
Partner with NA Central FP&A to support direction-setting and delivery of key finance IT strategic initiatives
Proactively provide future-forward strategic decision support through insightful, operational recommendations
Lead mission critical financial reporting and analysis to drive business performance
Partner with manufacturing leadership to drive clarity of business performance and appropriate action
Lead monthly forecast and actual cycles that translate operational activity to financial outcomes
Maintain risk-adjusted forecasting models which links key business drivers to performance scenarios
Lead analytic and process improvements that continuously improves reliability of predictable results
Develops and supports advancement of high performance teams
Develop clear team roles, responsibilities, and measurable goals that are directly tied to Company strategy
Builds actionable development plans and engages in career conversations on a regular cadence
Participate actively in cross-finance and cross-functional engagement initiatives and activities

10+ years overall experience including 4+ years manufacturing finance and 2+ years manufacturing FP&A leadership.
Finance planning IT systems experience.
Building, manufacturing or industrial sector experience (preferred).
