Position Title: Manager IT/ERP Compliance
Position Location: Carlisle, PA
The R&C IT / ERP Compliance Manager provides influence, assistance and support to the Information Technology (IT) teams in developing, implementing and monitoring a framework of internal controls, efficiently and effectively supporting the business and addressing Global and local / Brand IT policy standards. Management time / efforts will be directed across current IT policy standards and application of those standards within an ERP / SAP environment. This position will support and engage in control design and oversight of relevant SAP automated controls, configurations, interfaces, and base IT general controls as part of the GRC design. This position will partner closely with business and IT leads in performing risk assessments / planning across transformational business changes (change in methods, procedures, IT systems/applications, etc.) and support the measurement of the implication as it relates to control standards.
The IT / ERP Compliance Manager supports the work to formalize a test plan, and supporting the execution of the IT/SAP control testing and reviewing the IT control assessment activities completed by members of the Risk & Controls department and providing timely feedback and coaching.
The incumbent also will be looked to for Continuous Improvement methods and tools that support efficiency and enhanced assurance. The role will include elements of coordination within Ahold Delhaize Europe IT related to Business / IT functions that align to Global Support leadership.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Enforce and facilitate the governance structure for changes to the IT / SAP US control framework
Ensure assurance testing on the effectiveness of key IT controls is executed with high quality and in accordance with industry/regulatory standards
Develop and maintain effective relationship with IT / IS business, discuss control issues and related remediation with business
Oversee the monitoring of process walkthroughs and management testing to identify possible internal control breakdowns and gaps
Advice and support IT / IS business in designing / implementing controls to remediate any gaps identified either by R&C or internal / external audit
Execute a risk-based key control monitoring plan based on scoping guidance
Regular reporting to and communication with the R&C Director on status and outcome of the activities
Requirements Basic Requirements:
5-7 years experience
IT Assurance (Compliance, Audit) professional with at least 5+ years of experience with designing, implementing, monitoring IT controls and at least 2+ years of experience in SAP platform (S4/HANA IT controls is a plus)
considerable knowledge of IT governance, risk management and a thorough knowledge of best practice IT controls
the candidate must be able to articulate control related concerns to senior IM management effectively
Experience working with clients going through a period of IT transformation is a plus
the candidate demonstrates a high level of initiative
