What Will You Be Doing?
As a PMO Manager, you will conduct project management (PjM) activities related to strategic technology related programs/projects, in addition to managing personnel and activities of the functional Program Management Office (PMO) team. You will be working on implementing and providing guidance related PMO processes and policies, oversee the work of project managers + technical business analysts, and work with cross functional department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop project and program plans.
PMO Manager will be responsible for:
Managing day-to-day activities in PMO, to ensure Frontier programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements.
Managing subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Direct reporting personnel actions.
Essential Functions/Requirements
People Management
Responsible for career development, performance management and performance review process for Program/Project Managers (PM/PjM) and Technical Business Analysts (BAs).
Provide oversight and guidance for project management staff by developing or modifying work plans, assigning, and distributing work, providing work instruction, resolving problems encountered during daily operations, and providing input for the performance enhancement plan.
Program/Project Management
Develop, implement, and monitor contracts with vendors, ensuring conformance to approved plans and contract specifications.
Lead program/project teams to develop and gain approval of project plans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, and project elements, including schedule, project deliverables, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing staff requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
Change Advocate- Reviews change readiness assessments and makes recommendations for organization change management actions to increase readiness and adoption of technologies deployed
Financial Management
Provide oversight and guidance over the development and monitoring of project budgets
Analyzes requirements across interdependent projects to identify opportunities for synergies and cost savings
Applies financial knowledge of budgets and estimation to successfully manage projects
Anticipates potential budget concerns and takes actions to avoid issues
Develops financial models and reviews scope and budget to ensure assumptions are clearly documented and tracked during project delivery
Risk/Assumptions/Issue/Dependencies (RAID) Management
Process/Tools Management
Enforce PMO methodology, usage of standard tools and drive for continuous improvement
Drives standard tools optimization for effective IT portfolio management within the framework of the organization.
Applies the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet the project requirements and achieve business results
Maintain standardized and relevant document templates into central repository for Frontier community.
Coaches PjMs in the team on the Program/Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) process
Communication/Relationship Management
Develop relationships with and ensure appropriate participation of key stakeholders and executives.
Serve as the primary contact for business relationship for project management services and practices.
Provide communications on services, utilization, engagement, accomplishments, overall value-add to the organization.

Qualifications
Reliable, punctual attendance and quick response-time is an essential function of the position
Expert level program/project management and business analysis skills and proficiencies in related methodologies, with a minimum of 8 years of successfully managing projects of "high complexity" as reflected in: size of project, cost of the project, size of project team, depth and breadth of project manager role & responsibility, span of project impact (i.e., enterprise-wide, multi-departmental, or having a major market or external impact).
Master's Degree in IT Project Management, Business Analysis or IT Leadership preferred; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree
Project Management Professional (PMP), Masters Certification in IT Project Management, Certified Scrum Master or similar work experience is preferred
Domain experience: 5+ years of experience in the aviation field or relatable experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
